It's now a breath of fresh air that Michael Badnarik has finally said something about her --- because as many in the Ron Paul community know, Badnarik was going to run for sheriff of this Freedom County. It's actually in Red River County, Texas, at last knowabouts.
But, like many, many, many past ventures and scams Linda Hunnicutt has been involved in (she even threatened to sue me at one time, which...would be her biggest mistake), she took the money and fled. How proper.

Waxahachie Sex Crime Ring | Big Name People, Media Hiding Crimes
There was a town where prominent people -- including the publisher of the Establishment newspaper -- covered up for some of the worst crimes involving children. No one believed the victims. The public rallied around these individuals who were prominent in the community, who ran the Boys/Girls Club, who knew U.S. presidents on a first name basis, who even sang the national anthem at the Dallas Republican Party convention. One man, a prominent lawyer and also a state lawmaker, took the allegations and investigated them, up until the entire operation came crashing down...and several people ended up dead, or in prison, or both.

Now, in Waxahachie, Texas, we have a similar situation. There is a crime ring so big that it is being covered up by the big political Establishment newspaper (the Waxahachie Daily Light) and includes the most prominent individuals in the county, and in the community. Those in the know call it "the circle." Much like the circle that encompasses our county in the form of the old SuperCollider, this circle is a demonic, Satanic, from-the-depths-of-Hell sinister plot to cover up for the worst crimes against children since The Franklin Cover-Up.
My stories and investigations into the local Child Protective Services (CPS) ripping families apart are nothing compared to this...but those CPS stories on top of each other have stacked into one gigantic piece of this child sex ring pie. The other pieces include how the WDL is covering up for these crimes. The other piece is how the Sheriff's Office, the Waxahachie PD, and the biggest banker in the county is helping cover up for these crimes.
Judges, lawyers and other prominent individuals were busted by the FBI in the late 80s, early 90s for being implicated in drug-running operations. Not a word was reported, but everyone involved got away scot-free.

Today, I had the pleasure to meet Tamara Yarbrough in Waxahachie, and came away sickened, but also full of confirmations as to why I am in Ellis County, and why The Ellis County Observer is located here, and why The Ellis County Press was originally started out to be placed here.
Tamara Yarbrough has a rap sheet. A fairly lengthy, controversial one. That is not an untrue statement.
But she has alleged, and I have assisted in linking, the worst crimes in our county, mostly occurring in Waxahachie. Within "the circle."
Why else would the WDL cover up for, say, the Dr. Chitale crimes? Chitale was a doctor in Ennis Regional Medical Center. He sedated patients as he molested them. This was covered up because at the time, Ennis Police were distracted by certain women-folk, including JoAnn Livingston of the WDL, who reportedly was screwing Lt. Ron Roark. This was kept hush-hush until the Dallas Morning News (excuse me, until I and The Dallas Morning News) blew a hole in the story. Livingston later apologized to Chitale's victims because she couldn't/wouldn't report on what was going on.
Why else would the WDL and law enforcement cover up for (Google the words in bold) Judge Al Scoggins and Karen Weaver, not only their affair, but Karen Weaver's child molestation against four of her grandchildren?
Why else would the WDL and law enforcement cover up for Sara Ruth Spector's CPS horror trail, and CPS offices in Waxahachie and Ennis snatching kids to put them with family members with long, lengthy drug abuses? Livingston and Spector are friends.
Why else would CPS lose a civil trial (jury trial) and then counter it with a district attorney-led criminal case, only to then be drowned again by a jury? Same family, two different venues and two similar outcomes: not guilty. Livingston and the prosecutors are best friends.
Why else would the Waxahachie PD allow their patrol supervisor, Lt. Billie Wiggins Pendleton, stay employed when she clearly had an affair with the former police chief Ted Garber and his daughter? She's an admitted psychopath, according to transcripts in the Robert Trevino Case.

She has four children, ages 23 to 11. She is married to Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough, who owns a roofing company and who is good friends with CNB Texas' Mark Singleton, a Waxahachie councilman. He also did work for the lady who owned Lynn's Check Cashing; He also knows and is friends with the Crownovers. He's friends with Joe Rust, the prominent real estate king. Rust even became a character witness for Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough during a divorce proceeding before Judge Al Scoggins. Kenneth Wayne wants to divorce Tamara for a few reasons...let's dive into those:
1) Judge Gene Calvert issued a protective order against Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough on behalf of the 11-year-old daughter, the only daughter between Kenneth Wayne and Tamara, in October 2009;
2) Kenneth Wayne filed for divorce shortly after that, and was, shockingly, given custody of the 11-year-old daughter per a CPS intervention;
3) Tamara, remember, has a rap sheet. Probation for 10 years, etc. Nothing in the order I read today bars her from seeing her daughter, but Kenneth Wayne has blocked all communication and visitation access to her daughter. I'm guessing those friends in high places helped Kenneth Wayne out. This is strictly conjecture, but, as history proves in this county, it is precisely the reason this stuff happens...
4) Calvert issued out of his Court at Law No. 2 the protective order because of physical and emotional abuse;
5) One day, before the divorce proceedings and the subsequent CPS intervention, the little 11-year-old daughter came to Tamara to tell her, "I have something I need to tell you." Before the child could repeat a word, Tamara took her to Waxahachie PD and wanted the 11-year-old to tell the police the allegations, so as to not make it look like she was coaching her child. WPD said they'd call the Gingerbread Advocacy Center, an organization that supposedly assists victims of child sex abuse. One look at their board of directors will show a who's who list of those who are (some, not all) helping perpetuating the cover up against the crimes against kids: CPS; the District Attorney; the WDL, just to name a few...
6) Tamara Yarbrough never received a call. But her daughter met with the Dunaway Elementary principal and guidance counselor one day, and told them the allegations. I asked Tamara if her daughter ever told her...and Tamara said she didn't want to know for fear others would think she coached her child. The Dunaway officials, God bless them, called CPS and made the allegations from Tamara's daughter a "Priority No. 1," which is ISD lingo for "we have some serious problems here...and we need an investigation pronto."
7) Tamara later said that her daughter's journal confirmed that something had happened, while not going into detail (the journal was dated when her 11-year-old daughter wrote it, she said.)
8) Tamara and Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough have been married for 13 years.
9) Back in 1999, Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough's then-16-year-old son Heath Yarbrough was sentenced to prison for raping Tamara's then-3-year-old son. Heath allegedly raped him anally. It was later alleged that Heath himself was molested as a child. Heath is now out of prison for raping the 3-year-old (who is now 23.) There were other allegations: Kenneth Wayne's son, Heath, had exposed himself to neighbor girls and also allegedly raped another boy.
10) Tamara's now-21-year-old daughter alleged that Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough raped her as well. The allegations came out of Fort Worth, where the 21-year-old daughter lived at the time. Tamara said she didn't believe her daughter for fear that her daughter was making it up because "she was mad at me." The allegations - two to be exact - were made, and the Waxahachie police reportedly arrested Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough. Remember those high places with friends? One of them happened to be a guy named Dusty Autrey, the owner (co?) of Triple A (AAA) Bail Bonds in Waxahachie. Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough was given a "walk-through" and arraigned without even being present before an unknown judge. Funny how things like that work...
11) The IRS letter sent to Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough's friends the Crownovers is a telling document...in it, the IRS says the Social Security number Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough uses is invalid, and has been. The IRS told Tamara Yarbrough, "I've never seen anything like this in my 30 years of working for the IRS. It was as if he was never born, never existed."
12) Tamara said her and Kenneth Wayne never had a bank account, but CNB Texas' Mark Singleton would -- with Kenneth Wayne's signature reportedly -- give him a "$1 million line of credit" --- all this, Tamara says, with no bank account.
13) KCK Roofing is located at 815 Cantrell Street south of downtown Waxahachie. It's now part of Brogdon Roofing. Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough is friends with a James Brogdon. James Brogdon is the grandfather of a Jessica Brogdon, who Tamara said was in bed with Kenneth Wayne one day as she walked in (this was when Jessica was about 13 or 14.)...Kenneth Wayne Yarbrough was "butt naked" with the young Jessica. Kenneth Wayne told her he was off his medications (had Jessica been my young daughter, Kenneth Wayne would have had two bullets in his head.) That might have explained why he was naked, but why was a young girl whose grandfather is now business partners with Yarbrough in his bed? Tamara Yarbrough said she told Cindy Brogdon, Jessica's mother. (Cindy is married to Cecil, who is also part of, or the sole owner of, Brogdon Roofing.)

15) About Tamara Yarbrough's arrest rap sheet. Again, this is not to be covered up, or ignored. But Tamara Yarbrough said she has been put in jail for months at a time, or on weekends, or periods of time and not been given the reasons she was in jail. She's been told of court hearings that take place without her knowledge.

Food for Thought: There is No 'Great Tribulation,' Third Temple, Rapture
Since my career highlights have taken out two of the most corrupt individuals in Ellis County politics today (Gene Knize and soon, Joe Grubbs), which was done through two primary elections ('06, '08...ask yourself: if they were not phased by this blog, why retire?), I'm injecting a lot more study, research and questioning into the mainstream, mainline Christian "prophecy" movement. It's a pretty massive paradigm shift to go under the impression that there won't be a world political leader known as the Antichrist, or a Great Tribulation, or the reconstruction of the Third Temple...basically, there will not be a story and plotline as current mainstream Christian prophecy teaches it.
Which is why, Exploding the Israel Deception by Steve Wohlberg is such a massive full-scale, shred-all-semblance-of-prophetic comfort. I've never bought into this myth that the "Church" was going to be raptured out of the earth before "the really bad things happen." Come to find out, the various points and doubts I had about mainline Christianity's prophecy arm started re-appearing in Wohlberg's book, as if to say these were confirmations that what I had questioned...this book had answered.
I seriously fully doubt that Muslims will allow for the construction of the Third Temple in a location they currently control. It just ain't gonna happen (in Revelation, the Temple is always followed by, "in Heaven." So there's a Temple alright...in Heaven.) The rapture is a big money-maker theory, but one only has to study the Biblical feasts (seven in all) to show the pattern and plan God has for the world stage.
If no Antichrist world political leader, then who? I've always thought the Roman papacy is and was the counterfeit --- and has built upon this earth the massive "antichrist doth already at work" Paul taught and wrote about in the first century. Kinda like Judas Iscariot right? Don't oppose someone by opposing them outright, but oppose them by being, talking, acting like them...plus, the St. Malachy prophecy that predicts 112 popes is and has been right on for 400, 500 years. We are on Pope No. 111 right now. Peter the Roman is the next in line. Flee to the hills when you see that guy come on the world stage...
Steve Wolhlberg is a Jewish Christian, and his short 130-page book was consumed in two hours today. This is a book that will destroy the mainline Christian prophetic movement, if I'm able to get the media empire in place large enough to broadcast it. Don't think I haven't harbored visions and goals of one day making the "paper-azzi" that I am building launch me full into the radio and TV side of things eventually...

Which is why, Exploding the Israel Deception by Steve Wohlberg is such a massive full-scale, shred-all-semblance-of-prophetic comfort. I've never bought into this myth that the "Church" was going to be raptured out of the earth before "the really bad things happen." Come to find out, the various points and doubts I had about mainline Christianity's prophecy arm started re-appearing in Wohlberg's book, as if to say these were confirmations that what I had questioned...this book had answered.
I seriously fully doubt that Muslims will allow for the construction of the Third Temple in a location they currently control. It just ain't gonna happen (in Revelation, the Temple is always followed by, "in Heaven." So there's a Temple alright...in Heaven.) The rapture is a big money-maker theory, but one only has to study the Biblical feasts (seven in all) to show the pattern and plan God has for the world stage.
If no Antichrist world political leader, then who? I've always thought the Roman papacy is and was the counterfeit --- and has built upon this earth the massive "antichrist doth already at work" Paul taught and wrote about in the first century. Kinda like Judas Iscariot right? Don't oppose someone by opposing them outright, but oppose them by being, talking, acting like them...plus, the St. Malachy prophecy that predicts 112 popes is and has been right on for 400, 500 years. We are on Pope No. 111 right now. Peter the Roman is the next in line. Flee to the hills when you see that guy come on the world stage...
Steve Wolhlberg is a Jewish Christian, and his short 130-page book was consumed in two hours today. This is a book that will destroy the mainline Christian prophetic movement, if I'm able to get the media empire in place large enough to broadcast it. Don't think I haven't harbored visions and goals of one day making the "paper-azzi" that I am building launch me full into the radio and TV side of things eventually...

666 | The Mark of the Beast & 'Signs'
Strangely, my fascination with yard signs and street signs** has to do with a spiritual component: "signs" that we are God's children. What are those signs? Keeping the commandments, keeping the Hebraic roots of our faith, teaching others to obey the Torah and not follow after doctrines of devils and "Church Fathers" --- for the "mark" of the beast system is both a physical mark and a spiritual mark. Those who follow the one true God are given "signs." Those who don't follow the one true God are marked for destruction and marked for the beast system that has given rise to the false messiah*** and the false prophet (believed to be Pope No. 112, Peter the Roman, according to St. Malachy's prophecy.)
*** The false messiah is believed to come from a Jewish lineage (several popes were Jewish), but others have pinpointed the British Royal Crown as giving birth to the world political leader. Fascinating stuff to study...

Why do we need to know or understand what this mark is? Why is it important to me as an individual? What is it? What is this Mark?
I have read so many different ideas as to what the ‘Mark’ is. This ‘Mark’ has been said to be the Social security cards, or credit cards. Recently there has developed a pea size memory card which has on it all of an individuals information. Once this memory chip is inserted under the skin of the recipient then all they have to do is wave it in front of another machine and accounts would be debited or credited and or medical information instantly available. It could be used to locate an individual through the Global Satellite Tracking System. This technology sounded pretty good so I invested in the company thinking it would soon be very profitable. It dropped in price shortly thereafter and a year later after I sold it at break even, it tripled in price. So much for my investing astuteness.
Lets get back to the Bible and read what it says. After all everyone else is just speculating, but the Bible is there to help us understand.
In Revelation 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
We often over look or we just plain forget that the Book of Revelation is a book written to reveal the end time events to us. Revelation 1: 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place.
Notice, that it is a revelation or revealing from Yahweh to Yahshua to give to us His servants. It is not a book of hiding things. Not to those who obey and keep the testimony of our Creator in Heaven.
It is of utmost importance for us to understand:
He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name
Let us do a simple Bible study. First go to a concordance and look up ‘mark of’. I use Crosswalk.com . And I first notice in Job10:14 ‘If I sin, then You mark me, And will not acquit me of my iniquity.’ So here Job is saying we are marked by Yahweh if we sin.
We read in Ps 37:37 -‘Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace—‘ , here we see the blameless and upright man is also marked.
Next in Eze 9:4 -”and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” -, again a mark on the forehead by Yahweh who morn over the evil being done.
We now have the following 6 verses in Revelation concerning the mark- Re 13:17 - and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Re 14:11 -And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
Re 15:2 - And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
Re 16:2 - So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
Re 19:20 - Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Re 20:4 -And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Next we are going to look up the word ‘signs’. There were 83 verses given, so I looked for signs that related to hands and foreheads.
We read in Exodus 13:1-10 -1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.” 3 And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten. 4 On this day you are going out, in the month Abib. 5 And it shall be, when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month. 6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the Lord. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And no leavened bread shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven be seen among you in all your quarters. 8 And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, ‘This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt.’ 9 It shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt. 10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
Here we have a sign that would be on our hand and a memorial in our forehead (between our eyes). What is that sign? It was the keeping of Passover in chapter 12 and here in chapter 13. It is the keeping of the days of Unleavened Bread. A sign that we are to keep from year to year.
Exodus 31:12-18 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ” 18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
Deuteronomy 6:1 - “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you–’a land flowing with milk and honey.’
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.
Deuteronomy 11:1 - “Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always……….18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth. 22 “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do–to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him– 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. 24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. 25 No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.
Ezekiel 20:10-26 “Therefore I made them go out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness. 11 And I gave them My statutes and showed them My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them.‘12 Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them. 13 Yet the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them. 14 But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out. 15 So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, ‘flowing with milk and honey, the glory of all lands, 16 because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. 17 Nevertheless My eye spared them from destruction. I did not make an end of them in the wilderness. 18 “But I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols. 19 I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; 20 hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’ 21 Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness. 22 Nevertheless I withdrew My hand and acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out. 23 Also I raised My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the Gentiles and disperse them throughout the countries, 24 because they had not executed My judgments, but had despised My statutes, profaned My Sabbaths, and their eyes were fixed on their fathers’ idols. 25 Therefore I also gave them up to statutes that were not good, and judgments by which they could not live; 26 and I pronounced them unclean because of their ritual gifts, in that they caused all their firstborn to pass through the fire, that I might make them desolate and that they might know that I am the Lord.” ‘
With the preceding verses, we can easily see that the mark of Yahweh is the keeping of his laws, Sabbaths and Holy Days. When we keep them they become a sign on our Hand and a Sign between our Eyes, or in our mind, which is also on our heart. ‘The hand’ signifies the way we live-our way of life, the way we work or conduct ourselves. ‘Between our eyes’ signifies the way we think and how we will treat others. It is our heart, our innermost being, our thoughts.
Those who will not keep the laws and Sabbaths of Yahweh, have the mark of the beast as a sign on their hands and on their foreheads.
Read this in the following verses. Re 7:3 - saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
Re 9:4 - They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
Re 13:16 - He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
Re 14:1 - Then I looked, and behold, a* Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.
Re 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Re 22:4 - They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 - Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Notice here in Thessalonians that the mystery of lawlessness (not keeping Yahweh’s Laws) is at work. The lawless one is Satan performing signs and lying wonders, unrighteous deceptions on those who would not love the truth of Yahweh and keep his laws. On them Yahweh will send strong delusion that they should continue to believe a lie.
What Lie? Satan is the father of all lies.
Joh 8:44 -You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
If you are not keeping the commandments then you are a liar if you also say you obey Yahweh. 1Jo 2:4 - He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Now, what is the mark of the beast? I have clearly shown you using scriptures what the mark of Yahweh is and how it is on our HAND and BETWEEN OUR EYES or on our foreheads. So you pretty much know what I am going to say is the mark of the beast. But I need to prove it to you without leaving any wiggle room to doubt.
There are today 6 billion people on the earth today - give or take a few. Over the past 6 thousand years of human history there are, or were multiple billions.
Today, as in the past, the vast majority of Europe and both North and South America are Catholic or Protestant. The Middle East is and has for most of the last 15 hundred years, been Muslim. Asia is both Muslim and Hindu with Buddhism and Confucianism. Russia is part of Europe and Catholic. Which part of the world are Sabbath keepers? Up until 1948 none. Then the state Israel was born. There have also been a very, very small number of Jews and other Sabbath keepers scattered throughout Europe and North America, in comparison. I think we can agree on this.
So now we go and look at Revelation. Re 12:9 - So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
John said that Satan deceives the whole world. The WHOLE WORLD. Not just a few. Yahshua Himself warned the Apostles and us in Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many
We now know that Satan deceives the whole world, and Yahshua says that many will come in His name and deceive many.
Notice in Re 6:2 - And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
You should make note of the fact that in Revelation, the 4 horsemen are interpreted by Yahshua in Mat 24. The first horse, although white, representing religions was not Yahshua, but false religion. These false religions conquered their way by force.
You are well aware of the follow scriptures in Matt 7:7-29. 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Now, concerning the mark of the beast, we should be looking for a mark that would cause us to not obey the Laws of Yahweh. If Yahweh’s mark was the Sabbath and the Feast days as shown to us in Leviticus 23, then Satan’s mark would be one that causes us to rest on another day besides the Sabbath and to worship on other holy days other than the Feast days that Yahweh has ordained. This would be the mark of the beast; keeping other days holy that were not set apart by Yahweh

2 Thessalonians 2:9 - The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Here, we see Satan is lawless, not a keeper of Yahweh’s Laws. He has power in lying wonders and unrighteous deceptions.
We read in Dan 7:25 - He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law.
Here again, we have Satan changing the mark of Yahweh by changing the time and the laws. The days we are to worship Yahweh are changed to other days and then we are told to worship Yahweh on these new days.
I have asked many times, and to date, no one has shown me a scripture or any scriptures that supports Sunday worship, or Christmas, or Easter, or Friday worship, or lent, or any other day that the “Christian or Moslem” world keep to celebrate. These are the days that are the mark of the beast. They are the days that the whole world keeps in honor of its god, making it a mark on their hand and a sign between their eyes or on their forehead.
The mark of Yahweh is His Sabbaths and Holy Days. Satan who has deceived the whole world, seeks to change times and laws that would cause the whole world to believe in pagan religious beliefs and not to believe in the true worship as Yahweh has set out in the scriptures.
Satan has successfully lied to the world and the world has believed the lie. How about you? I can write to you many proofs showing how Christmas and Easter and other beliefs are pagan, but you may not believe me. But to those that want the truth look each one up in any reputable encyclopedia and you’ll see. Satan has deceived the whole world and you too, by changing Yahweh’s Holy Days as laid out in Leviticus to other days and calling them god’s days.
Listen to what Yahweh says in Amos 5:21 “I hate, I despise your feast days, And I do not savor your sacred assemblies. 22 Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them, Nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings. 23 Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. 24 But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream. 25 “Did you offer Me sacrifices and offerings In the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? 26 You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your gods, Which you made for yourselves. 27 Therefore I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus,” Says the Lord, whose name is the God of hosts.
Do a study on Sikkuth and Chiun. They are Molech and Ishtar, Christmas and Easter, and Israel was worshiping them before Yahshua was ever born.

When we let scriptures interpret scripture you can see that the mark of Yahweh is the keeping of Yahweh’s Laws. We belong to His system of Government. The Mark of the beast is keeping the laws of the beast, which are the laws of Yahweh corrupted. These then belong to the beast government. Yet they believe they are following the true God and are deceived.
In addition to this understanding that scripture has now shown you, we are also told concerning the number 666, in Rev 13:18, to calculate this number and that it is the number of the man.

Why do we need to know or understand what this mark is? Why is it important to me as an individual? What is it? What is this Mark?
I have read so many different ideas as to what the ‘Mark’ is. This ‘Mark’ has been said to be the Social security cards, or credit cards. Recently there has developed a pea size memory card which has on it all of an individuals information. Once this memory chip is inserted under the skin of the recipient then all they have to do is wave it in front of another machine and accounts would be debited or credited and or medical information instantly available. It could be used to locate an individual through the Global Satellite Tracking System. This technology sounded pretty good so I invested in the company thinking it would soon be very profitable. It dropped in price shortly thereafter and a year later after I sold it at break even, it tripled in price. So much for my investing astuteness.
Lets get back to the Bible and read what it says. After all everyone else is just speculating, but the Bible is there to help us understand.
In Revelation 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. We often over look or we just plain forget that the Book of Revelation is a book written to reveal the end time events to us. Revelation 1: 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place.
Notice, that it is a revelation or revealing from Yahweh to Yahshua to give to us His servants. It is not a book of hiding things. Not to those who obey and keep the testimony of our Creator in Heaven.
It is of utmost importance for us to understand:
He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name
Let us do a simple Bible study. First go to a concordance and look up ‘mark of’. I use Crosswalk.com . And I first notice in Job10:14 ‘If I sin, then You mark me, And will not acquit me of my iniquity.’ So here Job is saying we are marked by Yahweh if we sin.
We read in Ps 37:37 -‘Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace—‘ , here we see the blameless and upright man is also marked.
Next in Eze 9:4 -”and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” -, again a mark on the forehead by Yahweh who morn over the evil being done.
We now have the following 6 verses in Revelation concerning the mark- Re 13:17 - and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Re 14:11 -And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
Re 15:2 - And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
Re 16:2 - So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
Re 19:20 - Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Re 20:4 -And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Next we are going to look up the word ‘signs’. There were 83 verses given, so I looked for signs that related to hands and foreheads.
We read in Exodus 13:1-10 -1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.” 3 And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten. 4 On this day you are going out, in the month Abib. 5 And it shall be, when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month. 6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the Lord. 7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And no leavened bread shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven be seen among you in all your quarters. 8 And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, ‘This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt.’ 9 It shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt. 10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
Here we have a sign that would be on our hand and a memorial in our forehead (between our eyes). What is that sign? It was the keeping of Passover in chapter 12 and here in chapter 13. It is the keeping of the days of Unleavened Bread. A sign that we are to keep from year to year.
Exodus 31:12-18 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ” 18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
Deuteronomy 6:1 - “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you–’a land flowing with milk and honey.’
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.
Deuteronomy 11:1 - “Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always……….18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth. 22 “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do–to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him– 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. 24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. 25 No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.
Ezekiel 20:10-26 “Therefore I made them go out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness. 11 And I gave them My statutes and showed them My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them.‘12 Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them. 13 Yet the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them. 14 But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out. 15 So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, ‘flowing with milk and honey, the glory of all lands, 16 because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. 17 Nevertheless My eye spared them from destruction. I did not make an end of them in the wilderness. 18 “But I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols. 19 I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; 20 hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’ 21 Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness. 22 Nevertheless I withdrew My hand and acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out. 23 Also I raised My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the Gentiles and disperse them throughout the countries, 24 because they had not executed My judgments, but had despised My statutes, profaned My Sabbaths, and their eyes were fixed on their fathers’ idols. 25 Therefore I also gave them up to statutes that were not good, and judgments by which they could not live; 26 and I pronounced them unclean because of their ritual gifts, in that they caused all their firstborn to pass through the fire, that I might make them desolate and that they might know that I am the Lord.” ‘
With the preceding verses, we can easily see that the mark of Yahweh is the keeping of his laws, Sabbaths and Holy Days. When we keep them they become a sign on our Hand and a Sign between our Eyes, or in our mind, which is also on our heart. ‘The hand’ signifies the way we live-our way of life, the way we work or conduct ourselves. ‘Between our eyes’ signifies the way we think and how we will treat others. It is our heart, our innermost being, our thoughts.
Those who will not keep the laws and Sabbaths of Yahweh, have the mark of the beast as a sign on their hands and on their foreheads.
Read this in the following verses. Re 7:3 - saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
Re 9:4 - They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
Re 13:16 - He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
Re 14:1 - Then I looked, and behold, a* Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.
Re 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Re 22:4 - They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Notice here in Thessalonians that the mystery of lawlessness (not keeping Yahweh’s Laws) is at work. The lawless one is Satan performing signs and lying wonders, unrighteous deceptions on those who would not love the truth of Yahweh and keep his laws. On them Yahweh will send strong delusion that they should continue to believe a lie.
What Lie? Satan is the father of all lies.
Joh 8:44 -You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
If you are not keeping the commandments then you are a liar if you also say you obey Yahweh. 1Jo 2:4 - He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Now, what is the mark of the beast? I have clearly shown you using scriptures what the mark of Yahweh is and how it is on our HAND and BETWEEN OUR EYES or on our foreheads. So you pretty much know what I am going to say is the mark of the beast. But I need to prove it to you without leaving any wiggle room to doubt.
There are today 6 billion people on the earth today - give or take a few. Over the past 6 thousand years of human history there are, or were multiple billions.
Today, as in the past, the vast majority of Europe and both North and South America are Catholic or Protestant. The Middle East is and has for most of the last 15 hundred years, been Muslim. Asia is both Muslim and Hindu with Buddhism and Confucianism. Russia is part of Europe and Catholic. Which part of the world are Sabbath keepers? Up until 1948 none. Then the state Israel was born. There have also been a very, very small number of Jews and other Sabbath keepers scattered throughout Europe and North America, in comparison. I think we can agree on this.
So now we go and look at Revelation. Re 12:9 - So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
John said that Satan deceives the whole world. The WHOLE WORLD. Not just a few. Yahshua Himself warned the Apostles and us in Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many
We now know that Satan deceives the whole world, and Yahshua says that many will come in His name and deceive many.
Notice in Re 6:2 - And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
You should make note of the fact that in Revelation, the 4 horsemen are interpreted by Yahshua in Mat 24. The first horse, although white, representing religions was not Yahshua, but false religion. These false religions conquered their way by force.
You are well aware of the follow scriptures in Matt 7:7-29. 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Now, concerning the mark of the beast, we should be looking for a mark that would cause us to not obey the Laws of Yahweh. If Yahweh’s mark was the Sabbath and the Feast days as shown to us in Leviticus 23, then Satan’s mark would be one that causes us to rest on another day besides the Sabbath and to worship on other holy days other than the Feast days that Yahweh has ordained. This would be the mark of the beast; keeping other days holy that were not set apart by Yahweh
.
2 Thessalonians 2:9 - The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Here, we see Satan is lawless, not a keeper of Yahweh’s Laws. He has power in lying wonders and unrighteous deceptions.
We read in Dan 7:25 - He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law.
Here again, we have Satan changing the mark of Yahweh by changing the time and the laws. The days we are to worship Yahweh are changed to other days and then we are told to worship Yahweh on these new days.
I have asked many times, and to date, no one has shown me a scripture or any scriptures that supports Sunday worship, or Christmas, or Easter, or Friday worship, or lent, or any other day that the “Christian or Moslem” world keep to celebrate. These are the days that are the mark of the beast. They are the days that the whole world keeps in honor of its god, making it a mark on their hand and a sign between their eyes or on their forehead.
The mark of Yahweh is His Sabbaths and Holy Days. Satan who has deceived the whole world, seeks to change times and laws that would cause the whole world to believe in pagan religious beliefs and not to believe in the true worship as Yahweh has set out in the scriptures.
Satan has successfully lied to the world and the world has believed the lie. How about you? I can write to you many proofs showing how Christmas and Easter and other beliefs are pagan, but you may not believe me. But to those that want the truth look each one up in any reputable encyclopedia and you’ll see. Satan has deceived the whole world and you too, by changing Yahweh’s Holy Days as laid out in Leviticus to other days and calling them god’s days.
Listen to what Yahweh says in Amos 5:21 “I hate, I despise your feast days, And I do not savor your sacred assemblies. 22 Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them, Nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings. 23 Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. 24 But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream. 25 “Did you offer Me sacrifices and offerings In the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? 26 You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your gods, Which you made for yourselves. 27 Therefore I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus,” Says the Lord, whose name is the God of hosts.
Do a study on Sikkuth and Chiun. They are Molech and Ishtar, Christmas and Easter, and Israel was worshiping them before Yahshua was ever born.

When we let scriptures interpret scripture you can see that the mark of Yahweh is the keeping of Yahweh’s Laws. We belong to His system of Government. The Mark of the beast is keeping the laws of the beast, which are the laws of Yahweh corrupted. These then belong to the beast government. Yet they believe they are following the true God and are deceived.
In addition to this understanding that scripture has now shown you, we are also told concerning the number 666, in Rev 13:18, to calculate this number and that it is the number of the man.

Mosque-like Architecture in Cedar Hill?
Remember when I showed you guys the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce building and how Middle Eastern it looked? Or what about Red Oak High School's new Dome of the Hawk (haha, catchy isn't it?) on their $95 million high school...and now in Cedar Hill, has Bailey's always gone for the gold dome look, or is this just unique for Cedar Hill?
I'm tolerant of every religious faith, even while we are at war with some elements of certain groups that really do in fact want to butcher us (the federal government, via economics, is included in that list), so don't take this "observation" of local architecture as me being a Muslimophobe. Some of the most beautiful women in the world come from the Middle East.

Another Messianic Congregation Found in DeSoto: 1 Block from TLW
There's a predominately African-American Messianic (Torah-observant) congregation in DeSoto, and ironically, it's one block from The Living Word (Hampton@Beltline) congregation...oh, so about that Light to the world thing:

In Acts 13, Paul and Barnabas are appointed to spread the message of the good news. Each Sabbath, they address the Jews and Gentiles who worship God in the synagogues. Segments of the Messianic movement of today are an outgrowth of that first century way of faith. According to the commands of God, both Jews and Gentiles who worship God should be meeting in synagogues every Sabbath to read, study, and discuss the words of the Torah and the salvation of Yeshua.
Acts 13 is particularly clear that God does not give a different message for Jews and non-Jews; non-Jews who want to follow the Creator God must go to the light given to the Jews. Acts 13:16 and 13:26 state that there are both Jews and non-Jews in the congregations. Acts 13:47, quoting Isaiah 49:6, says, “I have made you a light for the gentiles that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” God gives the spiritual light of the Torah to the Jews, gives salvation/ Yeshua through the Jews, and commands the Jews to share it with the world.
Acts 13 also records the controversies brought about by this command. Now, two thousand years later, these controversies still create divisions. Jews do not want to share the light with non-Jews; on the opposite side, non-Jews do not think Jews have anything special to offer. Those who abide by Torah do not see the Messiah in the Word; contrarily, those who profess Messiah do not want to abide by his Word. Even those who do see the two halves of the story and bring them back together as the saints of Revelation 12:17 and 14:12 (those who profess Yeshua and abide by the commandments/Torah) still manage to find details to argue about with one another.
Nevertheless, God’s light is increasing on the earth. Torah-observant congregations faithful to Messiah spring up in the most surprising places!

Reading Material: The 7 Lies of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory
This is where a good, thorough understanding and study of the Torah would help alleviate the deception in churches and their fiction bookshelves that include such crazy ideas as the "church" will be spared all the "bad stuff" of the Great Tribulation. Lots of Protestants will be very pissed off as they will go through the Great Tribulation...I believe for sure that it will be this generation who will see it, and experience it. That's just me though...without a study of the Torah's seven Holy Days ("festivals"), one cannot fully understand Biblical end times prophecy...the three Holy Days in the fall that we are commanded to keep are pictures of the end time scenario...

The Seven Lies of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture

1. The lie that Christians will not go through the tribulation.
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that Christians will not go through the tribulation. However, it is very clear from scripture that the “Son of man” does not come to gather together his elect until after the tribulation.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
-Matthew 24: 29-31
Who are the elect? We can see how the word "elect" is used in other verses:
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.”
-Romans 8:33
“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;”
-Titus 1:1
It is clear from the context of Matthew 24 and from other verses in the Bible that the elect are God’s chosen people (Christians). It is also clear that Matthew 24:29-31 is referring to the rapture. Therefore if the rapture does not happen until after the tribulation, Christians will go through the tribulation.
2. The lie that the tribulation is the wrath of God on this world.
The reason the pre-tribulation rapture teaches that Christians will not go through the tribulation is that it teaches a false definition of the word “tribulation." It teaches that “the tribulation” is when God pours out his wrath on the unsaved world. However, that is not what the Bible teaches. The Bible uses the word tribulation 22 different times. For sake of time we cannot look at all 22 times it appears but let’s look at a few examples of when the word is used:
“Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.”
-Matthew 13:21
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
-Romans 8:35
“Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
-2 Corinthians 1:4
“I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
-Revelation 1:9
Tribulation could not mean the wrath of God on the un-saved because in most of the verses that the word is used it is God’s people going through the tribulation. Tribulation is the state of being persecuted or afflicted. So, when you are persecuted you are in tribulation. Christians will go through the tribulation because the tribulation of the end-times is not the wrath of God on the world but the persecution of Satan and the Antichrist on believers.
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:
Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”
-Matthew 24:15-22
The Bible says that the elect will go through the tribulation; we already mentioned that the elect are saved believers.
When tribulation or persecution is being inflicted, it is generally done to a specific person or group of people. Even when the Bible speaks of God casting people into tribulation it is to a specific group of people.
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”
-Revelation 2:20-22
When God pours out his wrath it will not be the “tribulation” because it will not be directed at any specific person or group; it will be poured out on the entire world. A group of people will be spared from his wrath and those are the believers. However, his wrath will not be directed at anyone in particular but rather at the whole world.
“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.”
-Revelation 16:1
In the book of Luke, Jesus says that the day God pours out his wrath on this world will be as it was in the days of Noah. Sin will abound, and God’s people will be spared, but he will punish the whole world!
“And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.”
-Luke 17:26-27
Christians will not be on the earth when God pours out his wrath because the Bible says:
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,” -1Thessalonians 5:9
The wrath of God does not come until after the rapture, and the rapture does not come until after the tribulation.
“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
-Luke 17:28-30
Just like in the same day that Lot came out of Sodom the city was destroyed. That is how it will be in the day that the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as soon as he takes the Christians out of the world he will begin to pour out his wrath.
3. The lie of the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that the return of Christ is imminent, meaning it can happen at any moment. It says that there is nothing that needs to happen in order for Jesus Christ to return. Scripture proves that his imminent return is simply not true. The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ cannot happen until first there come a falling away, and second the “man of sin, the son of perdition” (the Antichrist) be revealed.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
-2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
So, what is “the day of Christ”? The Bible says:
“Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
-1 Corinthians 1:8
The day of Christ is in the “end” and on that day we will be blameless.
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
-Philippians 1:6
In the day of Christ, God will be done performing the work he has begun in us. So when will all this be?
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
- 1 John 3:2
The day that the Lord Jesus Christ returns is the same day that we will be like him. Then the work of sanctification that God is performing in us will be done. Therefore the day of Christ is the day that Jesus Christ returns. According to 2 Thessalonians, the day of Christ cannot come until two things happen first: a great falling away and the man of sin being revealed. This means that the day of Christ (i.e. the day that the Lord Jesus Christ returns) is not imminent.
4. The lie that there is no sign of the return of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was asked two questions by his disciples about the end times. The first question was, “when shall these things be?” and the second question was, “what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” The Lord Jesus Christ answered both of these questions, which is why we have the Olivet Discourse.
Jesus’ answer to the first question: “when shall these things be?”
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
-Matthew 24:4
Notice that the Bible says that Jesus answered their question. The pre-tribulation rapture says that there are no signs, and that we cannot know when these things will be, but since Jesus answered their questions we obviously can know these things.
“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
-Matthew 24:5-6
Jesus said when you hear many saying that they are the Christ, and when there are rumors of wars, the end is still not yet!
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
-Matthew 24:7-8
When there are many famines and pestilences and earthquakes, and when nature begins to do strange things, then you are at the beginning of the end.
“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
-Matthew 24:9-14
When you begin to be persecuted and the gospel is preached in all the world, then you will know you are at the end. The very next thing that will happen is the revealing of the Anti-Christ.
Jesus just answered their first question. He told them it will not be when there are false Christs and rumors of wars. It will not be when there are famines and natural disasters. He told them the end will come when you are being persecuted and the Antichrist is revealed. He did not give them a date but he did tell them when these things will be.
Jesus’ answer to the second question: “what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

When you see the Antichrist, that is when the great tribulation will begin. Notice the rapture has not yet happened, so Christians will be living through this tribulation, which is the persecution of the believers by Satan and the Antichrist.

After the tribulation the Sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of heaven shall be shaken. This will be our sign that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming. Luke gives us the same description.
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Luke says that when you see these signs, look up, and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh. Jesus just answered their second question and told them what the signs of his coming will be.
After he was done answering their questions Jesus begins to teach them a parable:
“And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.”
-Luke 21:29-31
We are able to look at the signs of the weather and see when the seasons are changing and a new season is coming. So we can also look for the signs that he has told us of, and we can know that the time is near that he will be coming. Also, in regard to knowing the time of his coming Jesus said:
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
-Matthew 24:36
This is true; we do not know exactly what day, and we especially do not know what hour of the day he is coming back. We can see the signs of his coming and prepare for his appearing.
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
-1 Thessalonians 5:1-6
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is going to come on us with no announcement - that he will come as a thief in the night. Paul said that the day should not overtake us as a thief, but we are to watch and be sober! What are we watching for? The signs that Jesus told us to watch for!
5. The lie of the secret return of Jesus Christ.
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that one day we will all be taken out of this world and those who will be left behind will wonder what happened to the rest of us. Did UFO’s take them? Where did they all go? This is the secret return of Christ and this is not taught in the Bible.
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
-Mark 13:24-27
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
-Revelation 1:7
“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

The Bible makes it clear that when Jesus comes back to rapture the believers, the world will take notice. They will notice the sun and moon being darkened; they will notice the stars falling and the heavens being shaken. They will hear the last trump. Even more the Bible says that all kindreds of the earth will see him coming in the clouds with their own eyes! No, those who are left behind will not be scratching their heads wondering where we went. They will know exactly what happened, and they will wail because they will know that now after the tribulation which they inflicted on the Christians of the world, the wrath of God will be poured out upon them.
6. The lie of the Holy Spirit being taken out of the world.
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” -2 Thessalonians 2:7
The pre-tribulation rapture uses 2 Thessalonians 2:7 to teach that the Holy Spirit is what is keeping the Anti-Christ from coming. It teaches that when the Holy Spirit is removed out of the world, we will be taken up (because God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us.) However there are some problems with this argument. There are a few reasons as to why this passage is not talking about the Holy Spirit:
(1) If you believe that the Holy Spirit is removed from the world at the rapture, but you also believe that people are still getting saved after the rapture (which the pre-tribulation rapture does teach), then you believe that people can get saved without the Holy Spirit.
“Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”
-2 Corinthians 1:21-22
(2) The Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead. What people fail to realize is that just as much as God the Father is God, and just as much as the Lord Jesus Christ is God, the Holy Spirit of God is God! Now, God is omnipresent, so how can you remove God?
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” -1 John 5:7
(3) The pre-tribulation rapture says that 2 Thessalonians 2:7 is referring to the rapture because when the Holy Spirit leaves the earth, then Christians will also leave the earth. However, every time the rapture is mentioned in the Bible there is a reference made to the sun, the moon, and the stars, or to the clouds. The passage of 2 Thessalonians 2:7 and its context does not make a reference to any of these things.
(4) The best reason as to why this verse is not talking about the Holy Spirit is because verse 7 says, “he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” You cannot refer to someone as “he” without first mentioning who the “he” is. A pronoun must have an antecedent. The antecedent is a noun to which the pronoun is referring. In the context of this verse, the Holy Spirit is not mentioned. The Holy Spirit is not mentioned in the book of 2 Thessalonians anywhere before 2 Thessaluians 2:7. Therefore the Holy Spirit cannot be the antecedent of "he." The truth is that those who teach the pre-tribulation rapture have taken this verse out of context and twisted it to prove their ridiculous teaching.
So who is the “he” mentioned in verse 7?
Well the only person mentioned that “he” could be talking about is the Antichrist.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (Here we have the antecedent)
Who (referring to the Antichrist) opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he (referring to the Antichrist) as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he (referring to the Antichrist) is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he (referring to the Antichrist) might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he (referring to the man of sin) who now letteth will let, until he (referring to the man of sin) be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked (referring to the Antichrist) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

Now that we know that verse 7 is referring to the "man of sin," we need to know a few things about the "man of sin" before we can understand what verse 7 is talking about.
Let’s look at a few things about the "man of sin:"
(1) The Bible says he was wounded as it were to death and his deadly wound was healed.
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (This is the Antichrist)
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, (This is the Devil) and his seat, and great authority.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
-Revelation 13:1-3
(2) The Bible says he ascended out of the bottomless pit.
“And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.” -Revelation 11:7
(3) The Bible says that he “was, and is not”
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”
-Revelation 17:8-11
What does “is not” mean? Let’s look at examples of other times the words “is not” are used in the Bible.
“And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.”
-Genesis 42:36
“The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
- Job 27:19
“In Ramah was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”
-Matthew 2:18
The words “is not” are used in the scripture to describe someone who is dead.
What we have learned is that the Anti-Christ was healed from a deadly wound, he came out of the bottomless pit (which is hell), and he is described as “is not” which means he is dead.
So, let’s go back to 2 Thessalonians 2:7:
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work (this means Satan has power and influence over the man of sin) only he who now letteth will let, (The man of sin,the Antichrist, is being used by Satan but he is still a hindrance in the way) until he be taken out of the way. (Referring to when the Antichrist receives his deadly wound and dies) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, (Satan has full control of this mans body and he ascends out of the bottomless pit) whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
-2 Thessalonians 2:7 -8
7. The result of the lie of the Pre-tribulation Rapture.
The Devil and the Anti-Christ would like nothing more than for people to be confused about the events of the end times. When Independent Fundamental Baptists agree with the doctrines of sinful books and movies like “Left Behind” and heretics like Tim Lahaye, they are doing a great disservice to the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even worse, they are furthering the cause of the Antichrist. Christians will be looking for the rapture instead of the Antichrist and will not be ready for the things to come. We need to understand that the next prophetic event to take place is worldwide persecution of Christians. If Christians cannot live for God now, how will they live for God during great persecution (the tribulation). The Bible says:
“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?”
- Jeremiah 12:5
Many churches believe that we do not have much time because Jesus Christ could return at any moment. For this reason they get sucked into the mentality of getting people saved at any cost. We must understand what the Bible says about the things to come. Then we will not only get people saved, we will also prepare ourselves spiritually. We would strengthen our families and churches in separation from the world and holiness. Instead we have independent Baptist churches getting people saved, but they are as worldly and liberal as any mega-church down the street! They are trying to save as many people as possible, even if it means having lower standards or not preaching all of the counsel of God in order not to offend or turn anyone away. However, if they have not already, they will soon stop giving the gospel and will only be concerned about keeping and entertaining people in their services. The pews may be filled, but they are liberal and spiritually dead. We must get the lost world saved, but we must also grow in grace and prepare ourselves for what could happen in the very near future.
The pre-tribulation rapture lets you believe you can live a perfect little life, buy all your fun toys, and wear all the stylish clothes. It allows you to believe that you can go on exciting vacations and have as much fun as you can imagine. Then one day with no warning you will be taken up into the presence of God almighty. The truth is, we might suffer more than we would like for the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must be ready for what the Bible says will happen in the end times. Jesus said to watch! However if you believe that we cannot watch or that we have nothing to watch for, then you have believed the LIE of the pre-tribulation rapture.
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

1. The lie that Christians will not go through the tribulation.
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that Christians will not go through the tribulation. However, it is very clear from scripture that the “Son of man” does not come to gather together his elect until after the tribulation.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
-Matthew 24: 29-31
Who are the elect? We can see how the word "elect" is used in other verses:
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.”
-Romans 8:33
“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;”
-Titus 1:1
It is clear from the context of Matthew 24 and from other verses in the Bible that the elect are God’s chosen people (Christians). It is also clear that Matthew 24:29-31 is referring to the rapture. Therefore if the rapture does not happen until after the tribulation, Christians will go through the tribulation.
2. The lie that the tribulation is the wrath of God on this world.
The reason the pre-tribulation rapture teaches that Christians will not go through the tribulation is that it teaches a false definition of the word “tribulation." It teaches that “the tribulation” is when God pours out his wrath on the unsaved world. However, that is not what the Bible teaches. The Bible uses the word tribulation 22 different times. For sake of time we cannot look at all 22 times it appears but let’s look at a few examples of when the word is used:
“Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.”
-Matthew 13:21
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
-Romans 8:35
“Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
-2 Corinthians 1:4
“I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
-Revelation 1:9
Tribulation could not mean the wrath of God on the un-saved because in most of the verses that the word is used it is God’s people going through the tribulation. Tribulation is the state of being persecuted or afflicted. So, when you are persecuted you are in tribulation. Christians will go through the tribulation because the tribulation of the end-times is not the wrath of God on the world but the persecution of Satan and the Antichrist on believers.
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:
Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”
-Matthew 24:15-22
The Bible says that the elect will go through the tribulation; we already mentioned that the elect are saved believers.
When tribulation or persecution is being inflicted, it is generally done to a specific person or group of people. Even when the Bible speaks of God casting people into tribulation it is to a specific group of people.
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”
-Revelation 2:20-22
When God pours out his wrath it will not be the “tribulation” because it will not be directed at any specific person or group; it will be poured out on the entire world. A group of people will be spared from his wrath and those are the believers. However, his wrath will not be directed at anyone in particular but rather at the whole world.
“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.”
-Revelation 16:1
In the book of Luke, Jesus says that the day God pours out his wrath on this world will be as it was in the days of Noah. Sin will abound, and God’s people will be spared, but he will punish the whole world!
“And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.”
-Luke 17:26-27
Christians will not be on the earth when God pours out his wrath because the Bible says:
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,” -1Thessalonians 5:9
The wrath of God does not come until after the rapture, and the rapture does not come until after the tribulation.
“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
-Luke 17:28-30
Just like in the same day that Lot came out of Sodom the city was destroyed. That is how it will be in the day that the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as soon as he takes the Christians out of the world he will begin to pour out his wrath.
3. The lie of the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that the return of Christ is imminent, meaning it can happen at any moment. It says that there is nothing that needs to happen in order for Jesus Christ to return. Scripture proves that his imminent return is simply not true. The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ cannot happen until first there come a falling away, and second the “man of sin, the son of perdition” (the Antichrist) be revealed.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
-2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
So, what is “the day of Christ”? The Bible says:
“Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
-1 Corinthians 1:8
The day of Christ is in the “end” and on that day we will be blameless.
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
-Philippians 1:6
In the day of Christ, God will be done performing the work he has begun in us. So when will all this be?
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
- 1 John 3:2
The day that the Lord Jesus Christ returns is the same day that we will be like him. Then the work of sanctification that God is performing in us will be done. Therefore the day of Christ is the day that Jesus Christ returns. According to 2 Thessalonians, the day of Christ cannot come until two things happen first: a great falling away and the man of sin being revealed. This means that the day of Christ (i.e. the day that the Lord Jesus Christ returns) is not imminent.
4. The lie that there is no sign of the return of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was asked two questions by his disciples about the end times. The first question was, “when shall these things be?” and the second question was, “what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” The Lord Jesus Christ answered both of these questions, which is why we have the Olivet Discourse.
Jesus’ answer to the first question: “when shall these things be?”
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
-Matthew 24:4
Notice that the Bible says that Jesus answered their question. The pre-tribulation rapture says that there are no signs, and that we cannot know when these things will be, but since Jesus answered their questions we obviously can know these things.
“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
-Matthew 24:5-6
Jesus said when you hear many saying that they are the Christ, and when there are rumors of wars, the end is still not yet!
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
-Matthew 24:7-8
When there are many famines and pestilences and earthquakes, and when nature begins to do strange things, then you are at the beginning of the end.
“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
-Matthew 24:9-14
When you begin to be persecuted and the gospel is preached in all the world, then you will know you are at the end. The very next thing that will happen is the revealing of the Anti-Christ.
Jesus just answered their first question. He told them it will not be when there are false Christs and rumors of wars. It will not be when there are famines and natural disasters. He told them the end will come when you are being persecuted and the Antichrist is revealed. He did not give them a date but he did tell them when these things will be.
Jesus’ answer to the second question: “what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

When you see the Antichrist, that is when the great tribulation will begin. Notice the rapture has not yet happened, so Christians will be living through this tribulation, which is the persecution of the believers by Satan and the Antichrist.

Paul said that the day should not overtake us as a thief, but we are to watch and be sober! What are we watching for? The signs that Jesus told us to watch for!
5. The lie of the secret return of Jesus Christ.
The pre-tribulation rapture teaches that one day we will all be taken out of this world and those who will be left behind will wonder what happened to the rest of us. Did UFO’s take them? Where did they all go? This is the secret return of Christ and this is not taught in the Bible.
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
-Mark 13:24-27
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
-Revelation 1:7
“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
-1 Corinthians 15:51-54
The Bible makes it clear that when Jesus comes back to rapture the believers, the world will take notice. They will notice the sun and moon being darkened; they will notice the stars falling and the heavens being shaken. They will hear the last trump. Even more the Bible says that all kindreds of the earth will see him coming in the clouds with their own eyes! No, those who are left behind will not be scratching their heads wondering where we went. They will know exactly what happened, and they will wail because they will know that now after the tribulation which they inflicted on the Christians of the world, the wrath of God will be poured out upon them.
6. The lie of the Holy Spirit being taken out of the world.
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” -2 Thessalonians 2:7
The pre-tribulation rapture uses 2 Thessalonians 2:7 to teach that the Holy Spirit is what is keeping the Anti-Christ from coming. It teaches that when the Holy Spirit is removed out of the world, we will be taken up (because God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us.) However there are some problems with this argument. There are a few reasons as to why this passage is not talking about the Holy Spirit:
(1) If you believe that the Holy Spirit is removed from the world at the rapture, but you also believe that people are still getting saved after the rapture (which the pre-tribulation rapture does teach), then you believe that people can get saved without the Holy Spirit.
“Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”
-2 Corinthians 1:21-22
(2) The Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead. What people fail to realize is that just as much as God the Father is God, and just as much as the Lord Jesus Christ is God, the Holy Spirit of God is God! Now, God is omnipresent, so how can you remove God?
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” -1 John 5:7
(3) The pre-tribulation rapture says that 2 Thessalonians 2:7 is referring to the rapture because when the Holy Spirit leaves the earth, then Christians will also leave the earth. However, every time the rapture is mentioned in the Bible there is a reference made to the sun, the moon, and the stars, or to the clouds. The passage of 2 Thessalonians 2:7 and its context does not make a reference to any of these things.
(4) The best reason as to why this verse is not talking about the Holy Spirit is because verse 7 says, “he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” You cannot refer to someone as “he” without first mentioning who the “he” is. A pronoun must have an antecedent. The antecedent is a noun to which the pronoun is referring. In the context of this verse, the Holy Spirit is not mentioned. The Holy Spirit is not mentioned in the book of 2 Thessalonians anywhere before 2 Thessaluians 2:7. Therefore the Holy Spirit cannot be the antecedent of "he." The truth is that those who teach the pre-tribulation rapture have taken this verse out of context and twisted it to prove their ridiculous teaching.
So who is the “he” mentioned in verse 7?
Well the only person mentioned that “he” could be talking about is the Antichrist.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (Here we have the antecedent)
Who (referring to the Antichrist) opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he (referring to the Antichrist) as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he (referring to the Antichrist) is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he (referring to the Antichrist) might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he (referring to the man of sin) who now letteth will let, until he (referring to the man of sin) be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked (referring to the Antichrist) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”
-2 Thessalonians 2:3-8
Now that we know that verse 7 is referring to the "man of sin," we need to know a few things about the "man of sin" before we can understand what verse 7 is talking about.
Let’s look at a few things about the "man of sin:"
(1) The Bible says he was wounded as it were to death and his deadly wound was healed.
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (This is the Antichrist)
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, (This is the Devil) and his seat, and great authority.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
-Revelation 13:1-3
(2) The Bible says he ascended out of the bottomless pit.
“And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.” -Revelation 11:7
(3) The Bible says that he “was, and is not”
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”
-Revelation 17:8-11
What does “is not” mean? Let’s look at examples of other times the words “is not” are used in the Bible.
“And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.”
-Genesis 42:36
“The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
- Job 27:19
“In Ramah was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”
-Matthew 2:18
The words “is not” are used in the scripture to describe someone who is dead.
What we have learned is that the Anti-Christ was healed from a deadly wound, he came out of the bottomless pit (which is hell), and he is described as “is not” which means he is dead.
So, let’s go back to 2 Thessalonians 2:7:
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work (this means Satan has power and influence over the man of sin) only he who now letteth will let, (The man of sin,the Antichrist, is being used by Satan but he is still a hindrance in the way) until he be taken out of the way. (Referring to when the Antichrist receives his deadly wound and dies) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, (Satan has full control of this mans body and he ascends out of the bottomless pit) whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
-2 Thessalonians 2:7 -8
7. The result of the lie of the Pre-tribulation Rapture.
The Devil and the Anti-Christ would like nothing more than for people to be confused about the events of the end times. When Independent Fundamental Baptists agree with the doctrines of sinful books and movies like “Left Behind” and heretics like Tim Lahaye, they are doing a great disservice to the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even worse, they are furthering the cause of the Antichrist. Christians will be looking for the rapture instead of the Antichrist and will not be ready for the things to come. We need to understand that the next prophetic event to take place is worldwide persecution of Christians. If Christians cannot live for God now, how will they live for God during great persecution (the tribulation). The Bible says:
“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?”
- Jeremiah 12:5
Many churches believe that we do not have much time because Jesus Christ could return at any moment. For this reason they get sucked into the mentality of getting people saved at any cost. We must understand what the Bible says about the things to come. Then we will not only get people saved, we will also prepare ourselves spiritually. We would strengthen our families and churches in separation from the world and holiness. Instead we have independent Baptist churches getting people saved, but they are as worldly and liberal as any mega-church down the street! They are trying to save as many people as possible, even if it means having lower standards or not preaching all of the counsel of God in order not to offend or turn anyone away. However, if they have not already, they will soon stop giving the gospel and will only be concerned about keeping and entertaining people in their services. The pews may be filled, but they are liberal and spiritually dead. We must get the lost world saved, but we must also grow in grace and prepare ourselves for what could happen in the very near future.
The pre-tribulation rapture lets you believe you can live a perfect little life, buy all your fun toys, and wear all the stylish clothes. It allows you to believe that you can go on exciting vacations and have as much fun as you can imagine. Then one day with no warning you will be taken up into the presence of God almighty. The truth is, we might suffer more than we would like for the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must be ready for what the Bible says will happen in the end times. Jesus said to watch! However if you believe that we cannot watch or that we have nothing to watch for, then you have believed the LIE of the pre-tribulation rapture.
“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

Audrey M. Rucker grew up down the street from me in Ovilla, but I had no idea who she was and vice versa. Come to find out, we were both Messianic. This Hebraic roots movement is taking over every town, county, city, state and nation in the world right now...it's better that we have the Internet to destroy the archaic methods of finding out the truth...because the Internet has blazed past what Churchianity is having a hard time doing: giving people the answers to "What's After Getting Saved?" Ever wonder that? What the heck do you do once you're saved? That's Churchianity's failure in the world...they can reach people for Christ, but after that, what? Oh, but if it's by works, then the Messianic people would be right.
You don't keep any of Christ's commandments to be saved. You keep his commandments because you are saved, because that was the sign that you/me/etc are HIS.

The next section in our series must be in the top ten of passages used to say that Torah is no longer incumbent for a believer's life and daily walk. It also opens up a lovely can of worms on the touchy subject of divorce, so I, the Torah-submissive divorced woman, will attempt to tackle these issues. Try not to fall out of your seats. =) Unlike my other notes, there is just too much here in chapter seven and I won't be able to just pull out a few verses to give you the gist, so this note will be a bit atypical as I go through the entire chapter, verse by verse. Please be studious and read it in it's entirety.
Or are you ignorant, brothers; for I speak to those who know the Law; that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?
This verse alone poses a problem for those who deny the Torah for their lives. There is also a big clue here that we might typically miss, and that is that this is specifically written to Jews, those who know the Law. This means they know what Sha'ul is talking about in a special way that we probably aren't going to understand outright.
For the married woman was bound by law to the living husband. But if the husband is dead, she is set free from the law of her husband.So then if, while her husband lives, she is married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress by becoming another man's wife.
A lot of people will use this to say that a woman is "bound by law" to her husband forever, however upon closer inspection it is the married woman who is bound by law to her husband. There is a difference. Once divorced, a woman is no longer married, correct? Correct, however that is not what this passage is talking about- it is strictly about a married woman. If a married woman goes to another man, she is an adulteress. If a married woman's husband dies, she is free to go to another man. Again, divorce is not even being discussed here, it's not part of what Sha'ul is getting at, period.
Sidenote: I don't believe in "once saved always saved", nor do I believe in "once married always married"...and it's funny how those two doctrines have striking similarities. Moving along...
So, my brothers, you also have become dead to the law by the body of Messiah so that you should be married to Another, even to Him raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit to God.
Sha'ul now applies a law of Torah to a spiritual law, as he often does. Because we do not know Torah, we tend to miss this teaching method he employs. The law that we are dead to is in fact none other than the law of sin and death from the previous chapter (see my previous note). Remember that Romans is a written letter, without chapter and verse, and the thoughts from chapter to chapter flow freely and lead into one another. Bearing this in mind, we can accurately interpret this passage with other passages, to mean that because of Messiah, there was a death in our "former marriage" and we are now free to "re-marry".
For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sin worked in our members through the law to bring forth fruit to death. But now we having been set free from the law, having died to that in which we were held, so that we serve in newness of spirit and not in oldness of the letter.
Again, an echo from the previous chapter about the law of sin and death that we have been set free from by Messiah's blood. The flesh and the Torah together bring death, for we all know that, "the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be" (Romans 8:7).
However, by Messiah's death we are no longer in bondage to the lust of our flesh but rather, empowered to serve in newness of spirit. Spirit cannot properly operate without truth, and the Torah is truth forever (Psalm 119:142).
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Let it not be said! But I did not know sin except through the law. For also I did not know lust except the law said, You shall not lust. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, worked in me all kinds of lust. For apart from law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once. But when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. And the commandment, which was to life, was found to be death to me. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me.
Sha'ul explains that by the Torah comes the knowledge of sin. There are many acts of disobedience we would not think to do on our own, if we had not heard the command not to do it. It is the rebellious nature of man, his sinful nature to do what he's been told not to do, just because he was told not to. This is carnal and works death...is the fault with the Torah or with man?
So indeed the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.
It looks like the fault is with man.
Then has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, working death in me by that which is good; in order that sin might become exceedingly sinful by the commandment. For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do, I know not. For what I desire, that I do not do; but what I hate, that I do. If then I do that which I do not desire, I consent to the law that it is good. But now it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing. For to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I do not find. For I do not do the good that I desire; but the evil which I do not will, that I do. But if I do what I do not desire, it is no more I working it out, but sin dwelling in me. I find then a law: when I will to do the right, evil is present with me.
The war that is waged is not the Torah vs. unmerited favor/grace, but rather, Torah in his heart and mind vs. the law of sin and death working in his flesh. Sha'ul continues to emphasize his point, gaining momentum and becoming more unmistakable:
For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man; but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin being in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Yeshua the Messiah our Master! So then with the mind I myself serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
The only way you can make this chapter say that Torah is abolished is by picking out one or two verses, without the context of the chapter and preceding chapter! The shed blood of Messiah put to death our former husband, the flesh, so that we could be married to Him instead.
I realize that I almost completely avoided the choppy waters of the divorce issue, albeit unintentionally since it was never an issue in this chapter, however, if you would like my position on it, I have a 20 page study on it that I am in the process of completing very soon, with the recommendation and collaboration of my dad.
