Sara's Secret | The Other Billboard on I-35 That Created a Buzz

Was running through my Photobucket album for The Ellis County Observer, and came across the non-cucumber billboard that Sara's Secret in DeSoto had up previously:

For all the advertising I'm giving Sara's Secret...I should get some gift certificates out of this...

  1. My only issue was the specific text on the cucumber one. The drill one was just......too disjointed and stupid.
The cucumber one was funny [in a weird, middle-schoolish sort of way] but the text explaining exactly what the joke was crossed the line for kids that can read.

maybe you should email them a link to your discussions and maybe they *will* give you some GC. ;)

  2. This, to me, is not as offensive as the "erectile dysfunction" ads on TV. How much money are the drug companies paying the FCC to allow this kind of nauseous advertising?

Hey look, if we have to sit through all the menopause and tampon ads, you can sit through the erectile dysfunction propaganda.

I'm waiting for the "please vaccinate your kids with mercury and feed them fluoridated water. It's for the children."
