Gulf Oil Spill | 'Tar Balls' Spotted on Galveston, South Texas Beaches

The key to my success in following current events is that I read everything -- from (sometimes) Communist Party publications to The Economist, to the Dallas Morning News to the New York Times. I also listen to a wide array of radio programs: NPR (replaced Glenn Beck with them after his anti-Debra Medina hatchet job);; KLIF 570 AM (my favorite by far) and a host of others. Not to mention all sorts of blogs and news sites, from Drudge to So today's show (July 5, 2010), it was reported on that Gulf oil spill "tar balls" were floating up on shores in and around Galveston and South Texas beaches... Developing...
